L3Harris Technologies and Air Tractor have officially teamed up to deliver the AT-802U Sky Warden™—a rugged, production-ready ISR strike aircraft purpose-built for extreme combat environments. The partnership merges Air Tractor’s proven agricultural airframe with L3Harris’ advanced mission systems, offering operators an affordable, deployable, and multi-mission platform that can take off from unimproved airstrips and operate alongside special mission teams in the field.
Sky Warden is designed to collapse the traditional “stack” of ISR and strike aircraft into a single, flexible solution. With the largest payload capacity of any single-engine turboprop, it combines intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and strike capabilities into one aircraft—providing agility, responsiveness, and cost efficiency in austere environments where traditional platforms can be logistically burdensome.

The Sky Warden name blends the heritage of the Vietnam-era A-1E Skyraider with the modern U-28 “Warden” ISR aircraft, reflecting its dual mission DNA. By integrating proven ruggedness with modern sensors, communications, and weapons systems, Sky Warden offers a deployable solution designed to meet the ISR-strike demands of today’s special operations forces—at a fraction of the cost of traditional airpower.
